That's a lotttttttta cookies!!!

I did my first "corporate" order this weekend! The Baton Rouge General Foundation sponsors an annual Father/Daughter Sweetheart Dance and Silly Gilly cookies were part of the celebration this year! I have to admit...I've done a lot of cookies over the last 4 months, but NEVER this many in one sitting! Thanks to mom and Stuart (who has self-proclaimed himself "junior baker" - a promotion from sous chef) for helping with both keeping the girls out of the kitchen and with bagging all those cookies!!! Couldn't have done it without ya'll! and thanks to Jenny at BRGF for supporting Silly Gilly Desserts!!

Jam Session

These were for a 2-year old birthday party. The mom sent me pics of the cupcakes toppers, and I re-created the image onto a cookie!

Happy 1st Birthday, Reese!!

Your baby's first birthday is so special!! Add a special touch with a personalized cookie!

Happy Birthday Reese! So glad we were able to celebrate your special day with you!!!

May the force be with you...

STAR WARS!!! Did these for a little boys' birthday party. Williams Sonoma has TONS of cute Star Wars party items for all you boy moms who have sons that love these characters!!

Who's your valentine???

Valentine's Day is just around the corner!! Get something sweet for your valentine this year!!!

**REMINDER** Any Valentines Day orders to be picked up the weekend of 2/11/11 should be placed by next Monday, February 7th.

inRegister

Silly Gilly made its first media appearance in this month's inRegister!! Thanks to Currie for the shout-out during her 5th Anniversary Celebration, which is where they "discovered" Silly Gilly!

Personalize your cookie for any occasion!!!

Just an example of a monogrammed cookie that can really be used for any occasion! These were for an 80th birthday party, but they'd be great for a bridal shower/luncheon, baby shower, Christening, etc.

Teacher Appreciation

I did these for a mom who wanted to give something to her son's daycare teachers before he moved on to a new class. They'd be great for teacher appreciation gifts as well, or even for end-of-the-season treats for your child's t-ball/ soccer/ football team celebrations (minus the apple of course)!

Baby Christening

Thought these were so sweet - they were for a little boy's Baptism. Did some pink ones for a little girl over the holidays and forgot to take pics.

Its Carnival Time!

Mardi Gras might be late this year, but that doesn't stop us from kicking off the celebration! These cupcakes are DELISH! Its a cinnamon cupcake w/ cream cheese frosting (intended to mimic the flavors of a king cake). The regular-sized cupcake is decorated like a king cake, and the mini cupcakes are sprinkled with purple, green & gold sugar. Hoping to do some cookies this week to add to the blog...

Dirty Thirty

Born in 1980, we've done our fair share of celebrating 30th birthdays this past year...and the celebrations carry on! These were for a 30th birthday party in Shreveport the weekend of the Cotton Bowl - hence the color scheme. Of course, you can do any number - I just recently did and 80th birthday party and have a 40th on the books - as well as any color combo...

Its a ZOO out there!

One of my favorite designs thus far...these were for a zoo birthday party. Loved them so much, I'm pretty sure one of the girls will have a zoo party this year so I can do the cookies for them!!!

Are you ready for some football!??!?

I did these for a 3-year old birthday party - posting pics just in time for the SuperBowl!! The colors can match whoever you're rooting for! Wishing black and gold were those colors...sniff sniff!! :-(

More LSU cookies - did these for the Cotton Bowl. The helmet is the newest addition to my football collection.

Happy New Year!

So this post is a little late (aren't they all tonight!), but just wanted to post a pic of some cookies I did for NYE. Hope you all have a fabulous 2011 ahead of you!!

Busy Bird Market

My friends Gina & Alycee started launched Busy Bird Market last spring. Its a great childrens consignment market - you should definitely check it out this year! The dates for this years' market are April 1 & 2 at the Marriott Hotel off of Corporate. Consigner drop-off starts this week!! Check them out on facebook (www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=100132410028111) or visit their blog at http://www.busybirdmarket.blogspot.com/.

Here's the Busy Bird logo...

And here are the cookies I did for them to give as gifts to their friends/family who helped them with last year's market!

Winter Wonderland

Probably the closest we'll get to seeing a snowflake around here! I did these for a Christmas Dinner, but they'd be cute for anything you have going on during the winter season! My customer sent me pics of the cookies set out - beautiful!! If you ever take pics like this, please share! I love to see the cookies on display!

Here they are on display at the dinner...
